Orphaned Page Test

This page is intentionally orphaned - it exists in the sitemap but has no internal links pointing to it from any other page on the site.

What's wrong?

• Page exists and is valid (returns 200 OK)
• Page is listed in sitemap.xml
• No other pages link to this page
• Users cannot discover this page through normal navigation
• Only accessible via direct URL or sitemap
• Poor for SEO - limited link equity/PageRank

Expected Detection:

Severity: Warning

Check: orphan-pages

Issue Type: orphaned_page

Detection logic: During crawl, the system tracks all internal links. After crawl completion, pages that exist but have zero incoming internal links are flagged as orphaned.

How to Fix:

• Add internal links from relevant pages
• Include in navigation menu if appropriate
• Link from related content
• Add to category/tag pages
• Include in footer or sidebar links
• Or remove the page if it's not needed

Difference from not_in_sitemap:

orphaned_page: Page is IN sitemap but has NO internal links
not_in_sitemap: Page has internal links but is NOT in sitemap
